You may withdraw your consent to receiving marketing communications from us at any time. However, withdrawing consent will result in your inability to use any features of the Service which require registration or membership.
Collection of Information: We aim to collect, use and disclose only such information as is required to enable us to manage your account, to provide the Service, to process payments, to maintain our customer/visitor lists, to respond to your inquiries or provide feedback, for identification and authentication purposes and for service improvement. We will maintain the confidentiality of any contact information you provide to us on signing up for our Services or contacting us with questions or for further information and we will use it only for the purposes for which we have collected it (subject to the exclusions and disclosures we have listed below), unless you agree that we may disclose it to other third parties.
Two types of information may be collected through the Service: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.
"Personal Information" is personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information, birth date and gender. We also collect location data at the time of collection, we will clearly identify the information being collected and the purposes for which it will be used. We may collect Personal Information in respect of the Service through registration processes; communications with you; information downloads; service purchases; user support; and surveys.
Use of Information: We collect information for the following purposes: Registration: In order to register for the Service you must provide certain Personal Information to us such as your full name and email address. You are also required to provide us with a scanned copy of your government-issued photo identification. We will use this information for verification purposes and to set up your account. You also have the option to register using your Facebook account in which event we will have access to certain information that is visible through your Facebook settings including your name, profile picture and friend list. We use your login via Facebook as a means of enabling your log in to the Service and may post to your Facebook wall according to your Facebook settings which apply when you approve CARDIOVOX to post on your behalf. Subject to the disclosures indicated below in “Service Profiles“ in general, none of your account registration information will be shared with other Users. When an Asker requests a task to be completed and a Tasker agrees to complete the task and the task is assigned, we will release information required to enable the Asker and Tasker to coordinate and get the task done. This information may include Users‘ email addresses, telephone numbers and full names.
Posting a Task If you post a task, we will ask you to provide information about the task including the type of task, number of hours and rate, address where the task is to be executed, task description, as well as your credit card information. We use this information to allocate your task to a specific TAsker.
Approval of a Task Once a task is posted, our algorithm checks that all required information has been submitted by the Asker. If any fields are incomplete, one of our Customer Relations representatives will call the Asker to obtain any additional information required. The algorithm will pre-authorize the Asker‘s credit card for the full amount payable for the task. If pre-authorization fails, the task is unapproved and one of our Customer Relations representatives will get in touch with the Asker. Once a task is approved, we will hold the full amount of the funds payable for such task in escrow pending completion of the task.
Assigning of a Task. Tasks are assigned using our algorithm, which searches through our database of active Taskers and assigns tasks to Taskers based on criteria including the Tasker‘s skill set, location and rating. Once a task is assigned to a Tasker, the Tasker will receive a message to call the Asker to confirm the time and place for the task. The Asker will also receive a text message or email from us detailing the first name and last initial of the Tasker as well as their rating, and letting them know to expect a call from the Tasker. During this call Asker and Tasker agree on the scope of work, if there is any issue then either party can decline and inform our Customer Relations representative.
Completion and Billing of a TaskWhen a task has been completed, the Asker will follow the task completion link we have forwarded by text or email message. The Asker will complete the invoice and sign off that the task has been completed. If the Asker is not physically present then his/her representative can sign it on his behalf, or one of our Customer Relations representatives can verify that the task has been completed by calling the Asker and marking the task complete on the Asker‘s behalf. Once this is done, we will send a text message or email to both the Asker and the Tasker confirming the completion of the task.
Verifications: We may use Personal Information submitted by Taskers to verify a Tasker‘s credentials. This verification might include AFT Certification, background checks or verification of government issued IDs. We may also phone Taskers to verify the information they have provided.
Service Profiles: If you are register as a Tasker, then your profile (including the TAsker‘s photo, qualifications, ratings and reviews) will be visible to Askers on need basis to write or read reviews, see previous work history or any other relevant aspect CARDIOVOX may deem relevant within the scope of this website.
Location Data when you register for the Service your location will automatically be picked up and suggested as the location for your registration although you will have the option to manually input something else. This location is used as the default for when you are requesting or responding to task requests to enable you to find and be found on the Service by other local Users.
